A personal message from Lonnie:
Working at Navajo Nation TV & Film will be a great experience and example of utilizing the knowledge and skills learned off the reservation. Becoming part of an existing substantial team will not only further our skillsets, but develop an eye of creativity, opportunity, and strength throughout the Native creative aspect of this industry. I’ve been excited the first day of being part of the team and continue to share experiences never thought of taking place. With every story we develop, write, or read about within today’s society there’s an opening perspective for the mind to develop thought. Where there is creativity and a concrete mind in knowing that ingenuity will lead to great outcomes. There will never be a lack of inspiration and the expression of our people to tell our own stories. As we continue to re-build what the pandemic has taught us, we reconnect to what created the foundation and learn that our stories carry subliminal teachings with addition to our traditions as the people of the Navajo Nation. From our grandparents, parents, brothers, and sisters, and all of whom we carry within us, each day is the given opportunity to pave a path of many within our world for the past, present, and future generations to come. We live on to carry those of our relations and those of others. Be great, live great, and inspire those around you to further themselves. Be safe, watch over your loved ones and mask up when you need to.
