3RD Annual Navajo Nation Film Festival!

This 3rd Annual Navajo Nation Film Festival will take place in Window Rock, Arizona on Friday September 11, 2026.

Friday (9/11/2026): MAIN EVENT: Join us at the Window Rock Cinema for an amazing line up of short films showcasing the talent and storytelling abilities of Navajo and indigenous filmmakers, cast and crew.

​

The upcoming 3rd Annual Navajo Nation Film Festival is accepting submissions NOW on FilmFreeway and will close on Mid August 2026. This film festival is  open to the public for submissions. Each submission will be reviewed. As the foundation of this film festival is language revitalization, all short film submissions will have preference for elements of Navajo language, culture, cast and crew, however, all other short films are welcome! We are looking forward to seeing your cinematic creations!
